So, I haven't used any type of color for my non-wire art projects in a LONG time, and for a good reason. Good color sketches from me are very few and extremely far between. This is... a second? Yeah. lol. Anyway, picked up my colored pencils again, finally, and said, hey, why not? (I must say, I was inspired by an artist who has quite a few pieces under my favorites category). It turned out MUCH better than I could have imagined, and I'm rather proud of myself.

Great use of warm and cool tones. The shadow on the neck and under the chin could have been deeper, but I just love the lighting.

Wow! For good reason! I was just experimenting with art as well, but I didn't try something like this. It looks great! You should be proud!

I love the lighting and shading on this. You did amazing on giving depth to the picture.

I was wondering about deepening the shadows in several different places, but wanted to avoid using black, make it strictly color, but I definitely agree. Next step: using color AND black successfully... Thank you. I appreceate the feedback, and the compliment.
